Como siempre les traigo lo mejor de los Virtual Labs de Microsoft Tech Net, Hoy estuve analizando varios de los Virtual Labs con motivos de traerles varios videos sobre SQL Server 2008. Have been a couple of weeks since I write the last Diaries of System Center Configuration Manager, I was at Tech Ed 2008 as a Microsoft Expert and one of the concerts I want to bring is the Integration of WSUS and Software Updates. People ask me about the following error 11756 and 2147219822. When looking into the error code list of System Center Configuration Manager that is on Tech Net Online. When Research the following Error code notice it say Group Policy Error and looking into WUAHandler of the Client I Notice that it say Group Policy Overwrite and using trace32.exe notice the red error on this Section, looking into Active Directory I see that the Group Policy that is actually affecting this Software Update is the WSUS Policy. If you have this setup remove it or just leave the option where the user cannot modify the Applet or GUI, The rest of the setting should be set as not configure. The problem is that Configuration Manager configure the default update site for the SUP/WU so if you have this settings enable will conflict and that's is why you guys the following error which mean Group Policy Conflict. If you guys need more information about this problem let me know.
